Angela Rogers
Angela has been performing on stage and screen for more than 25 years. She is originally from the USA and has worked all around the world performing. Her professional musical theatre and acting credits include Maureen in the Australian premiere of RENT where she was nominated for an Australian Guild Award for Best Actress in a Supporting role. She also toured North America in the 2nd National tour of CINDERELLA starring Eartha Kitt and played Peron’s Mistress in the 20th Anniversary National tour of EVITA under the direction of Larry Fuller. Among her touring career, she also was seen in the Off-Broadway productions of PRINCE & THE PAUPER and AZ also starring the incomparable Eartha Kitt. Angela also performed as a Guest Entertainer for various Cruise Ships around the world and has been a part of many concerts and symphonies. These credits include being the USA representative and soloist for the United Nations Concert at Madison Square Garden,NY, joining many Broadway veterans in the First You Dream concert benefit for The Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation,NY and joining the Broadway cast of Mama Mia for the Annual Easter Bonnet Concert. She has also been a soloist for Broadway Rocks and Grooves in New York and 100 Years of Broadway in New York and in Barbados under the amazing musical direction of Neil Berg. She was a soloist for Christmas on Broadway Cabaret Show which landed a MAC nomination. Angela has also been the lead soloist for the Alabama, Kingsport Tennessee and Arkansas Symphony Orchestras in the US.
Her regional theatre credits are some of her most rewarding and memorable experiences to date. Some include reviving her role as Peron’s Mistress, Ariel in FOOTLOOSE, Sally Simpson in THE WHO’S TOMMY, Narrator in JOSEPH &THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOUR DREAMCOAT, Martha in THE SECRET GARDEN and Rose Otta in THE ROBBER BRIDEGROOM.

She has also been apart of numerous industrial concerts and print ads such as being the lead soloist for The Next Best Thing, Star Power at MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas and was the face of Timex Watch print ads for many years. She has also been involved with many screen projects that have included feature roles and off screen stand in positions. Some include the hit HBO series The Sopranos where she played a feature role as Gudren, Law and Order, Trinity and the blockbuster hit movies Shaft and Sweet Home Alabama where she was Reese Witherspoon's stand in.
Angela’s passion for the arts and sharing her life experiences has been something she has been wanting to do for such a long time now. Her proudest achievement in life has been becoming a mother to three incredible humans. “Its very important to me the legacy I create for them and every person I teach and share a stage with. The arts were a safe haven for me growing up. Sharing my craft with people has always been an important outlet for me. I want more than anything to be able to give the same opportunities that were available to me to every person I teach. It is my greatest passion.
